WFTU's Solidarity message on the Floods in Valencia

 WFTU's  Statement on the 107 Anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution. Central Trade Unions of India Protest against the over stepping authority of the Ministry of Labour on the Membership Verification process of the Central Trade Unions. 

WFTU extended its supports for the struggles led by the FNIC-CGT in France against the destruction of Jobs in the Country's Chemical Industry.

The WFTU issued a statement on 06.11.2024, extending solidarity and support with the Workers of ready mixed concrete Factories in all provinces in Cyprus who have gone on an indefinite strike from 06.11.2024.

General Secretary of WFTU issued a solidarity message on 01.11.2024, conveying the sincere condolences of the WFTU Family with the Workers in Valencia affected by the Torrential Rain and the consequent flash flooding that hit the wider region the last days. More than 200 people lost their lives and many hundreds were deeply affected. 

A copy of the statement issued by General Secretary of WFTU is enclosed as Annexure-III of this WFTU APRO Circular. In a statement issued on 06.11.2024, by the General Secretary / WFTU, it is stated that the th WFTU honours the 107 Anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution. The October revolution led by the courageous and visionary Leaders of the Working Class, brought forth a new dawn for the oppressed and downtrodden. The Great October Socialist Revolution and its achievements changed the Global Correlation of forces in favour of Workers and Peoples. It proved that the organised struggle of the people can achieve victories that seem impossible. 

WFTU, APRO extend its warm and revolutionaries greetings to the working people of the World struggling for a Socialist Society. A copy of the statement issued by WFTU is enclosed as Annexure-IV of this WFTU APRO Circular. The platform of Central Trade Unions of India jointly forwarded a protest letter to the Minister for Labour and Employment, Government of India raising objections on a letter issued by the Labour Department which trespasses the Administrative and Operational Boundaries laid down in the Trade Union Act 1926. A copy of the Joint Letter issued by the Central Trade Unions is enclosed as Annexure-V of this WFTU APRO Circular.
